What a listing edit includes
Listing photos have to look bright, true and consistent across a whole home, and they have to be ready fast. A standard edit covers:
- Blending brackets or ambient and flash frames into one clean exposure
- Window pulls, so the view outside shows instead of a white rectangle
- Color cast removal from warm bulbs, colored walls and light bouncing off grass or floors
- Straight verticals and level horizons
- Small cleanup: cords, outlet covers, a stray towel, marks on walls
- Sky replacement on exteriors with a flat gray or blown-out sky
What we won't change
Listing photos have to show the property as it is. We remove temporary things such as cars, bins, hoses and personal items, but not permanent features such as power lines, cracks, stains, water damage or a neighbor's building. If your brokerage or MLS has its own rules on editing, send them and we'll follow them.
Extra edits
Day to twilight
A daytime exterior turned into a dusk image with a warm sky and lit windows.
Lawn and pool touch-ups
Brown patches greened lightly and pool water cleared, within what the listing can honestly show.
Fire in the fireplace
A fire added to an empty fireplace for a warmer living room shot.
TV and screen fills
Black screens and dark monitors filled with a neutral image or left plain.
Daily workflow
Most real estate photographers upload at the end of a shoot day and want edits back the next morning. Send each property in its own folder with the address or a job number, and we deliver each home as one set so you can pass it straight to the agent. Delivery time is agreed in your quote, and for regular work we set up a standing order with your preferred look, sizes and naming.
Questions
Do you edit drone and aerial photos?
Yes. Aerials get the same color and sky work, plus lot line overlays if you supply the boundary.
Can you do virtual staging?
We focus on editing the photos you shoot. Furniture staging is a separate service that we don't offer here.
